Sun Bonnet Sue

Here is the quilt I made for my daughter, Moria, for her high school graduation, June 1998. She choose the Sunbonnet Sue patterns, and the fabric was taken from clothing or scraps used for her clothing from baby clothes to present time. Each block has a special action that relates to Moria and her interests. There are four blocks that have pictures printed on fabric using a computer, one of our dog, one of a horses head, a fish, and a basket of fruit. I have also enclosed a picture of the back of the quilt made with large squares of all the fabric. Making this quilt brought back many memories of her childhood for me. She will be off to college in the fall and plans to take the quilt for her dorm room.
