" Some Of My Favorite Things"

The quilt , here, is a king size quilt made up of 210 4" blocks. Most of them are paper pieced, many are hand appliquéd, and some are pieced in the traditional method. It won a first place blue ribbon at our GA National Fair. I worked on the blocks during most of the last year. There are many hours in the quilt, paper piecing isn' t always fast. Many of the blocks took a couple of hours each. I call it

Below is the Triple Irish Chain. I made this scrappy, about 63 different fabrics. I saw an older quilt similar to it and loved the look. It also won a first place blue ribbon. I have won other blue ribbons and an Award of Excellence for one of them.
