  Miniature Quilt's
by Linda Hahn

Liberated Scraps

Made from my batik scraps. The NY Beauty block was from EQ5. The outside border was from Karen Stone's Lady Liberty pattern and modified by me. This quilt helped me come up with a unique method of piecing these blocks. The quilt won a 3rd place at the 2004 New Jersey State Quilt Convention.

Posted 2/16/2005

These are miniature quilts.  The circular quilt has been juried into the 2000 Quilter's Heritage Celebration Show in Lancaster, PA.  It was also entered in the 2000 NQA show in Reno, NV and Quilts Along the Bay, Barnegat, NJ where it won 1st in the miniature category.
This quilt is a sample of my new lecture, Curves Can be Cool!  It was part of an invitational display at the Garden Patch Quilt Show in Wheaton Village, Millville,
This quilt has been finished and has already won 1st place at the Monmouth County Fair and 1st place at Quilts Along the Bay
Another work in progress...this piece will be layered and then quilted in metallic thread.

Thank you for sharing.
