 Welcome to the
Quilt Gallery

This was made by member of a quilt group in Olympia, Washington that is basically
comprised of mostly state workers from from various offices. There are about 15-20 members
in the group. This year we decided to prepare 4 wall hangings which we then sell
tickets for a $1 donation. The winners are drawn at quarterly or annual meetings.
We keep 1/3 of the donations to buy materials for the next year's charity projects.
The rest goes to the charity of our choice. This year it will be to buy food,
clothes and Christmas gifts for a destitute family referred by a state agency. The
other wall hanging themes were Nautical, Houses, and Christmas. Our group will also
be making blankets for homeless children at one of our fall meetings. - Laura
